How long should I wait to shower after a non-toxic sunless tan?
Your tan can be rinsed off as soon as 1 hour post-session, and can be left on for up to 5 hours depending on desired intensity. Shower 1 to 2 hours after the application to achieve a light tan, 3 to 4 hours to achieve a medium tan, and 4 to 5 hours after to achieve a dark tan. The color will fully develop 24 hours after showering. For the first shower, we recommend a warm water rinse only (no soap) and refrain from applying lotions or cosmetic products to your skin.
What is the Skinny Dipping/ Custom Non-Toxic Sunless Tan?
Our non-toxic sunless tan is great for your skin, the planet, and any event that requires some glow! This tan can be showered off anywhere from 1 to 5 hours post-session. The color will fully develop 24 hours after showering.
How do I prepare for my tanning appointment?
Here are a few tips we recommend following prior to your tan: keep your skin and body hydrated! Aka, drink lots of water and moisturize well. Shower and exfoliate the day prior to your appointment, rather than immediately before your session. Schedule any waxing or nail appointments prior to your tanning session. Steer clear of all oil-based products for 24 hours before your session, and do not use products with salicylic acid or retinol for at least 1 week prior. Wear (or bring) dark, loose-fitting clothes, and slip-on shoes.
How should I care for and maintain my tan?
Here are a few tips we recommend following to maintain your tan for as long as possible: for your first shower post-session, stay away from soaps, lotions, and cosmetics. Feel free to resume your moisturizing routine 24 hours after your tan. During your first shower, use your hands to guide the top layer of tan off your skin to avoid streak marks. Avoid sweating as much as possible until after your initial rinse/shower. To maintain your tan, avoid spending extended periods of time in water. Chlorine, air travel, and dry or cold weather dry out the skin. Use sunscreen every day!
What should I wear to my tanning appointment?
Please wear (or bring) dark, loose-fitting clothing and slip-on shoes. There is a slight chance (as with any cosmetic tan) that our product will rub off on your clothing. It washes out of most materials easily, but better safe than sorry!
What should I wear while I’m getting an airbrush tan?
Up to you, babe! Wear as little or as much as you’re comfortable with – just be aware that any clothing you keep on will result in tan lines.
How long will my tan last?
Honest answer? It depends. Depending on your skin type, skin cycle, lifestyle, and after-care, your tan should last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. Try to avoid activities that speed up your skin’s natural exfoliation process like long showers or baths, jacuzzis, sweating excessively, and swimming.
I have very fair skin, will a spray tan still look natural?
Yep! We offer a wide range of shades and will help you pick the perfect one for your specific skin type. If you’re new to spray tanning, we always suggest choosing a lighter shade for your first session.
Why does my face tan fade faster?
Sooo, this is for a few reasons! First off, your facial skin is relatively thin. Your face is also more exposed to the environment and (hopefully) gets washed the most frequently. Lastly, makeup, anti-aging creams, and more will break down your tan quicker.
Will a spray tan protect me from the sun?
No it will not! Always remember to wear SPF.
Will dry skin affect my airbrush tan?
We see you dry-skin babes! Unfortunately, dry skin may cause your tan to fade unevenly. We recommend moisturizing every day for least a week leading up to your session. Continue moisturizing regularly after your first post-session shower.
Is sunless tanning safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
The active ingredient in our tanning solutions, DHA (dihydroxyacetone, acts only on the top layer of the skin. Our formulas are non-toxic and there is no evidence that DHA is harmful for pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, we always recommend consulting your doctor if you have any questions prior to your session.
Can I get a spray tan if I have a sunburn or my skin is peeling?
Our best advice is to wait it out. We do not recommend getting a spray tan if skin is sunburnt or peeling. And don’t forget to wear SPF next time you’re exposed to the sun!
Will any of the spray get on my clothes or sheets?
It’s possible! Because the spray tan sits on the outermost layer of dead skin cells, sweating or natural exfoliating can cause the tan to rub off as your skin cells turn over.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Gradual fading can be expected for all micro-pigmentation procedures. This varies among people and is dependent on the specific shade used, personal care routine and sun exposure. Most colors last three to five years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years.
How permanent is permanent?
Great question. You can expect some gradual fading with all micro-pigmentation procedures. The amount of fading depends on various factors, such as shade used, personal care routine, and sun exposure. You can roughly expect your permanent makeup to last 3 to 5 years, with some shades lasting as long as 10 years.
Am I a good candidate for permanent makeup?
Before scheduling your permanent makeup appointment, be sure that you don’t meet any of the following criteria. And, as always, check with your doctor about any additional concerns you may have! You may not be ready for permanent makeup if you are:
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Diabetic
  • Undergoing chemotherapy (only with a doctor's written approval)
  • Have any viral infections and/or diseases
  • Have epilepsy
  • Have a pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Have any skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
  • Have had an organ transplant
  • Have received Botox in the past 4 weeks
  • Have had steroids (oral or injected) less than 30 days before the procedure
  • Used Accutane in the past year
* We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we deem not suitable for this procedure or for any other reason.
What is permanent makeup eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner is a time-saving alternative to daily makeup, enhancing the upper and lower lash lines to make eyelashes appear thicker, darker, and fuller. This multi-session procedure requires at least one touch-up visit to ensure the desired outcome. Initially, the color may appear sharper and darker, but it will soften as the skin heals and naturally exfoliates. While the tattooed colors are permanent, they may not always perfectly match your skin tone due to natural variations in your skin's appearance. This treatment is the ideal solution for eyeliner lovers!
What are the benefits of permanent eyeliner?
Some of the bonuses of permanent eyeliner include:
  • Added definition to your eyes
  • No more smudges, smears, or worn-off eyeliner
  • Great for those with cosmetic allergies or sensitivities
  • Enhanced lash lines
  • Saves time and money
  • Great for people with unsteady hands or vision problems
  • Swim, shower or sweat without your eyeliner running
  • Fills in thin or light colored eyelashes
  • Ideal for total eyelash loss due to trichotillomania or alopecia
What if I'm not sure how much eyeliner I'd like to have applied?
No problem! The treatment is done over two appointments. During the first session it is always best to be modest with thickness, line length and color, as we can always add more at the second session. The artist will work with you to determine the perfect shape and placement for your specific features.
How long does the treatment take?
The first treatment takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The 6 week touch-up takes about 1.5 hours.
What will I look like immediately after?
You can expect some swelling over the first 24-48 hours. While the swelling starts going down right away and most people are back to normal by the following morning, we recommend planning for a lowkey 48 hours, just to be safe! The color will appear darker the first week, but will gradually lighten and may possibly scab.
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Do not wear any eye makeup to your appointment.
  • Contacts should be removed prior to treatment and refrain from wearing them for a minimum of 4 hours after the treatment is finished.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Vitamin C or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure.
  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to the treatment.
  • If you have eyelash extensions, please remove them one week prior to coming in for your permanent eyeliner appointment.
  • Do not use Latisse for a minimum of 3 months prior to the procedure. Other lash serums must be discontinued for a minimum of 1 month prior to the procedure. These serums are very harsh on the eyelid, making them quite fragile for cosmetic tattooing, and prone to bleeding and bruising. You may resume using lash serums 2-4 weeks after the touch up appointment.
Are there any post-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Do not wear any eye makeup for 1 week following the procedure.
  • You will be given lint-free wipes soaked in distilled water to take home with you. Please wipe your eyelid area once per hour for the first 3 hours.
  • Apply ice as often as you'd like to reduce swelling, but make sure it’s wrapped in a towel.
  • You may apply a thin layer of the given ointment to the lash line if necessary on day 2 and 3.
  • If the area starts to flake, leave it. Do not pick or peel off the skin.
  • Keep your hand clean and avoid touching the treated areas.
  • For at least 1 week, or until healing is complete (whichever is longer) avoid excessive sweating, tanning, swimming, and steam rooms.
  • Keep your eye area as dry as possible for the first week.
  • Pigments will slowly fade over time depending on your metabolism, skin type, sun exposure, medication, and lifestyle. Schedule maintenance visits to keep it looking fresh.
  • Do not donate blood for 1 year following your makeup service (per Red Cross).
Is it painful?
To be honest, the eyeliner or lash line procedure is more psychologically scary to most people than anything else. The discomfort is relative, as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. A topical lidocaine is applied to the eyelids for numbing prior, and anesthetic is applied during the procedure. We take pain management very seriously, and will make every effort to keep you comfortable for the duration of the treatment.
What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that lasts 1-3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle. Using a hand tool with ultra-fine needles, each 'hair' is etched into the skin for a natural, yet full look. It's ideal for enhancing or reconstructing eyebrows, especially for those with little to no brows, thinning brows, or over-tweezed brows. Pigments are chosen to match your natural or desired brow color.
How long does it take to heal?
No down time is required after your microblading treatment. It takes approximately 10-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. After your appointment, your brows will appear darker than desired for the first few days. You can expect the color to fade about 20-30% as it heals. You may experience some scabbing or flaking accompanied by an itchy feeling. It’s very important that you don’t pick at the scabs, as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area. After that, you may experience something called "milk skin", a term used to describe an opaque, milky appearance to the pigment causing the brows to look very light in color. This is a result of your body's natural response to heal itself from the cuts made into the skin during the treatment. Your skin will naturally exfoliate over the next few weeks, and the final color will take appear once fully healed.
Is the touch up session necessary?
Yes! A touch up session after 4-6 weeks is necessary as everyone heals differently and outcome will vary. Certain areas may not pick up during your first session and will need to be refilled. Pigment color may need to be adjusted, brow thickness and more strokes can be added. Those with oily skin often require a deeper shade during the touch up session, as skin oils tend to lighten the pigment. Most importantly, this touch-up session perfects your brows and ensures the color lasts all year!
What if I need an additional touchup after my 4-6 week session?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee 100% pigment retention. Additional touch up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, those with dark pigmented skin, and people who do not follow after care instructions properly. This is considered a “spot treatment” and will require an additional cost.
Is it painful?
Although everyone responds differently to anesthetic, the pain level for the treatment is considered mild to none. Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthetic will be applied to numb the area, and also reapplied during the procedure if necessary. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area is normal. People typically describe the feeling as similar to a light sunburn. Feel free to take Tylenol, but avoid aspirin and ibuprofen.
How long does it last?
Microblading typically lasts about 1-3 years, depending on skin type, age and lifestyle. Clients who have oily skin or sweat excessively will typically fade faster. Each individual's color retention within the skin will vary. To keep the brows looking fresh, a touch up is suggested every 8-18 months. Clients can let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note that a slight shadow may remain.
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 48-72 hours. Tylenol is okay!
  • No chemical peels, Botox, or fillers for at least two weeks prior to the procedure.
  • No excessive tanning or sunburns.
  • No Retin-A or retinoids on the brow area for 7 days prior.
  • Feel free to come in with brow makeup on so the artist can see the everyday look you prefer. Reference pictures are always welcomed.
Are there any post-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Keep the treated area as dry as possible for 14 days or until the scabs fall off. When showering, avoid your face area. When cleaning or washing your face, avoid your brows and clean around them.
  • No excessive sweating such as intense cardio, hot yoga, etc. for 7-10 days.
  • Wipe your brows 3-5 times with the provided water wipe on the first day.
  • If at any point during the first 2 weeks your brows feel dry, tight, or flaky, you may apply a thin layer of the provided ointment before you go to bed or in the morning when you wake up.
  • Do not apply other occlusive products to the brow area such as Neosporin, Vaseline, or Aquaphor.
  • Do not put makeup on the brow area for a minimum of 14 days, or until the scabs have flaked off.
  • The brow area may feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to lightly scab over. Do not peel or pick at the scabs as this can affect the outcome and pigmentation.
  • Do not go swimming, tanning, or into saunas for at least 14 days.
  • No face scrubs or chemical peels at least 2 weeks after.
Am I a good candidate for microblading?
Before scheduling your microblading appointment, be sure that you don’t meet any of the following criteria. And, as always, check with your doctor about any additional concerns you may have! You may not be ready for microblading if you:
  • Have used Accutane within the past year
  • Have heart conditions or are using heart medications
  • Have diabetes (will require a physician's note)
  • Have skin disease or irritations on the face
  • Are allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or epinephrine
  • Have any serious medical conditions (will require a physician's note)
  • Are pregnant
  • Are nursing (can be done at your own discretion. We suggest discussing with your doctor first)
* We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we deem not suitable for this procedure or for any other reason.
Can I get microblading if I have an old tattoo or previous work done by someone else?
We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists' work. Please consult us directly, including photos of your current brows, date of your last session, and how many sessions you have received.
Are there any risks?
We always use sterilized equipment and new needles, and provide a sanitized environment. We highly encourage following all pre- and post-care instructions to ensure minimal complications. Although allergic reactions to the pigments are rare, it is a possibility for certain individuals. We suggest a pigment patch test for individuals who have high skin sensitivities or are sensitive to topical makeup products, metals like gold, silver, and nickel, or hair dyes. Patch tests should be performed 5-7 days prior to your session.
What is permanent makeup lip blushing?
Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup that enhances and defines the shape and color of your natural lips. It can also be used to help mask scars and imperfections of the lips and to create symmetry. Note: lip blushing will not provide a solid lipstick look but rather a tinted effect.
Am I a good candidate for microblading?
Lip blushing is a great treatment for those with pale natural lips, those who want to redefine their lip contours, and those looking for a fuller look without the use of fillers.
How is the lip blushing treatment performed?
We use a permanent makeup machine and pigment that provides a subtle, matte, natural toned, tint to the lips.
How long does the treatment take?
The first treatment takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. The 6 week touch-up takes about 1.5 hours.
How long will it last?
Your lip blushing will last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and after care routine.
What can I expect after the treatment?
To ensure the best healing process, keep your lips clean and moisturized after treatment. You can expect a thin film to form and peel naturally around day three. Your lips may feel tight, cracked, chapped, and itchy during this period. Do not pick at the film, as it can cause irritation, scars, and uneven color. The implanted color will fade by 50-60% during the initial healing process, and although the pigment may seem to disappear, it will become visible again as the skin heals between weeks 2-4. If the color remains weak or patchy at weeks 5-6, this is normal, and a second session will help. Healing varies by individual, and lifestyle factors such as lip biting, using exfoliators, sun exposure, smoking, and anti-aging products can accelerate fading. Regular color boosts every 12-24 months are recommended. Permanent makeup is an art, and results may vary, so using additional lip products may still be necessary for desired coverage.
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • If you are prone to cold sores, it is recommended to take a regimen of Valtrex or Lysine prior to the procedure to avoid an outbreak.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Vitamin C or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the treatment. Tylenol is okay.
  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to the treatment.
Are there any post-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Apply the given ointment as often as possible for 1 week. Do not let your lips dry out completely, since this can cause scabbing and cracking of the skin surface.
  • For at least 5 days, please do not consume any hot drinks or food. The hotness can cause the pigment to fade faster and your lips to peel.
  • For 5 days, please prevent going in saunas, pools, hot showers, or baths.
  • You can get your lips wet (i.e. when washing your face/mouth) but please do not get any hot water near your lip area. Do not soak your face underwater in a bathtub or allow the shower to spray directly in your face.
  • No exercising for 24 hours after the procedure.
  • No lip fillers for 4 weeks post procedure.
  • Do not scrub, scratch, or pick at the tattoo site at any time during the healing process.
  • No facials or masks for 15 days, and avoid them on the lips area indefinitely.
  • No Neosporin, Vaseline, or other petroleum products while your lips are healing.
  • No anti-acne products (i.e. Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactive) or lightening creams (bleach creams) – this will cause rapid fading.
  • No anti-aging products or facial products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHAs), Retin-A, Lactic or Glycolic Acids.
Does it hurt?
During the procedure, anesthetics will be used to numb your lips and minimize the pain. Lips are prone to swelling due to their sensitive nature. Swelling will typically subside in 3-5 days.
What if I don't like the permanent makeup?
Although we’re huge permanent makeup lovers, we highly encourage you to carefully consider your decision before booking. We will make every effort to achieve an even appearance, but please remember that faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Brows are sisters, not twins! Uneven appearance can be fixed during the touch up session. Pigment discoloration and color correction can also be fixed during the touch up session. Microbladed brows will eventually fade if no additional touch ups are done.
What is saline removal?
Saline removal is a very effective treatment to lighten and remove permanent makeup. The treatment involves dipping a needle into the saline solution and tattooing it into the unwanted area. It draws the ink to the surface of the skin, which forms a scar that naturally exfoliates off. Amount of sessions needed depends on how many layers of permanent makeup you have, how oily your skin is, and other variables. It takes 7-10 days to heal and you must wait a full 8 weeks in between sessions. It’s safe for all skin types!
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Please come to your appointment with clean eyes that are free of makeup and mascara. Any residue from makeup, lotions, or serums will cause the extensions to fall off prematurely.
  • Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time. Your stylist will go over your completed forms, and will conduct a thorough consultation prior to lash application. Appointment time is approximately 2 hours.
  • Dress comfortably, and avoid drinking caffeine or too much liquid beforehand.
  • If you wear contacts, you will be asked to remove them. Please bring a contact case and solution.
  • Please note: within the first 24 hours upon receiving eyelash extensions, the adhesive needs to set, and must not be wet or exposed to moisture. Please plan showers and/or exercise accordingly.
Are there any post-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • For the first 2 hours after application, do not get your eyelash extensions wet.
  • For 24 hours after application, avoid water, heat, facial services and tanning beds. When receiving a facial, ask for damp cotton rounds or tanning goggles to be placed over your lashes.
  • After 24 hours, resume lifestyle, but limit heat and excessive sweating. Do not use spas, saunas, or pools. Adhesive needs to cure and bond with your natural eyelash.
  • Wash your lashes daily with oil-free facial cleanser, eyelash cleanser, or soap. Oil breaks down the adhesive.
  • Avoid getting too close to heated ovens, grills, or fire pits. When cooking, open the oven door or grill lid and wait 20 seconds before approaching to allow heat to dissipate. Excessive heat from these sources may cause the pre-curled extensions to straighten.
  • When showering, avoid the shower water directly hitting your lashes. Lean head back into the shower stream. Be cautious with hair conditioner dripping onto your lashes, as it contains oils. After showering, blot your lashes with a paper towel or let them air dry. Brush your eyelashes when they are dry using a mascara brush if necessary.
  • Do not use any oil-based products such as makeup remover, makeup products, lotions etc. on your extensions. If using mascara, please make sure it is oil-free. The label of your products must say “oil free.” Only use mascara or eyeliners, formulated for extensions. Do not use waterproof mascara. Only apply mascara to tips. Tip: use an angle head synthetic brush to paint mascara on lashes, instead of the wand that comes inside the tube.
  • Avoid pulling your lashes, rubbing your eyes, and touching the base of your extensions. Do not use a manual eyelash curler.
  • Wear a headband when exercising or sweating.
  • Avoid exposure to high temperatures such as hot hair styling tools, ovens, etc.
Will lash extensions ruin my natural lashes or cause them to fall out?
Lash extensions will not cause your natural eyelashes to fall out. Remember that your natural lashes have their own life cycle of falling and growing – like the hair found elsewhere on your body! Our lash stylists are trained to look for adult lashes to attach the individual synthetic lashes. Young (baby) lashes are left alone to allow them to fully develop. This way, when it comes time for your next treatment, we have new strong lashes to bond to. It's normally hard to notice small lashes falling out, but when attached to a thicker, longer lashes it becomes much more noticeable. Once the extensions are removed, your own eyes may appear smaller, and your natural lashes shorter and sparser, because you've been accustomed to a full set of longer, thicker lashes.
How long will my lash extensions last?
Your new lashes will last between 2 to 4 weeks depending on your skincare routine and your own natural lash life cycle. To maintain the look of your lashes, you will need to come in for refills every 2 to 4 weeks.
How often should I be coming in for lash refills?
We recommend getting refills every 2 to 4 weeks. If you wait too long, your extensions will fall out and you will require a fresh full set. Factors such as exposure to humidity, steam, or touching your eyes a lot may cause the extensions to fall out quicker. Refills take around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the state of your remaining lashes. Not sure when you should come in for a refill? As a general rule of thumb, come in when your extensions are 50% to 60% gone.
Can I apply mascara to my lash extensions?
Yes, however you must only apply water-based mascara. Do not use oil-based or waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascara and any type of oil based mascara dissolves the bonding agent of the extensions and causes them to fall out sooner. Also, be sure to wash off all eye makeup thoroughly using a water-based eye makeup remover.
Can I swim, shower, and exercise while wearing lash extensions?
Yes. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, and exercise. However we recommend that you do not wash your eye area for at least 24 hours after the initial eyelash extension application. This allows the bonding agent to fully dry and prolongs the life of your extensions.
What is the difference between lash extensions and a lash lift?
Extensions will replace the need for makeup and give more fullness to your lashes, whereas a lash lift and tint will just curl and color the lashes you already have. Both services can provide a beautiful, natural look. Lash extensions are more customizable in terms of shape, volume, and overall look.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is an all-natural, semi-permanent procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes without the use of any leave-on chemicals or extensions. The natural lashes are boosted from the root, giving them a lifted, lengthened appearance.
Am I a good candidate for a lash lift?
Before scheduling your lash lift appointment, be sure that you don’t meet any of the following criteria. And, as always, check with your doctor about any additional concerns you may have! You may not be a good candidate for a lash lift if you:
  • Have very little natural eyelashes. A lash lift will make the gaps between your lashes more noticeable.
  • Have pre-existing eye(lid) conditions such as chronic dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, or ocular rosacea.
  • Have recently had Lasik surgery. Please wait a minimum of 6 months from your procedure.
  • Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.)
  • Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (we recommended booking an appointment for a patch test.)
  • Are rough with your eyelashes.
  • Are undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (we recommend consulting with your physician)
  • Are sensitive or have allergies to dyes (we recommended booking an appointment for a patch test.)
  • Had blepharoplasty surgery (must wait a minimum of 1 year after your surgery.)
Can I get a lash lift if I’m pregnant?
The first trimester of pregnancy is often a period of higher hormonal changes and many women experience heightened sensitivities during this period. For this reason, we recommend not getting lash lifts done during the first trimester.
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Please make sure to arrive without contacts, concealer, eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow etc.) on the day of your appointment. Avoid curling your natural lashes with a lash curler for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Will I damage my natural lashes?
Nope! Our properly trained and skilled professionals follow all necessary protocols and will deliver an excellent treatment.
Can I wear mascara after getting a lash lift?
Yes, but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised, as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
Can I get my lashes wet?
For the first 24 hours, use cold water to clean the eye area. After that, you can take hot showers or visit saunas, and your lashes will be fine!
How long does a lash lift last?
Your lift will last between 6 and 8 weeks. In about 8 weeks, your curled adult lashes will grow old and fall out. New baby lashes will peek through and return back to your natural state. Most of our clients get their lashes re-lifted every 6-8 weeks. If your hair and nails grow fast, you may want a lash lift closer to the 6 week mark.
I got a bad lash lift somewhere else. Can you fix it?
If you had a bad lash lift recently, it’s best to reach out to the lash studio that gave you the service. This is because they're familiar with the products and techniques they used on you and should know how to reverse or fix your lash lift. If you want to come visit us instead, it's recommended to wait 6 to 8 weeks after your initial lash lift so your lashes can rest and grow out. We’ve got you covered moving forward!
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a non-invasive procedure that realigns the direction of your natural brow pattern. It gives you the appearance of a fuller, fluffier brows — and who doesn’t want that?
Am I a good candidate for brow lamination?
Brow lamination is great for anyone who:
  • Is looking to improve the overall look of their brows
  • Has sparse brows or is currently growing out their brows
  • Is not ready to commit to microblading or permanent makeup
  • Has unruly, stubborn eyebrow hair
Are there any reasons brow lamination might not be suitable for me?
Brow lamination is not recommended if:
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You’ve recently had eye surgery, have any open wounds/ pimples around the brow area, or are currently experiencing pink eye or any other eye irritations.
  • You have eczema or psoriasis around the eye/brow area
  • You have very sensitive skin or an active sunburn around the brow area.
  • You are on any blood thinners (including fish oil or omega). It’s recommended to discontinue using these 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Are there any pre-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Please arrive to your appointment with clean eyebrows. Your eye area should be free of makeup, pressed powders and moisturizers.
  • For best results, please grow your eyebrow hairs and avoid threading/waxing/plucking/trimming for up to 4 weeks prior.
  • Do not apply Retinol, Retin-A, BHA/AHA, or exfoliate to your face for 72 hours before your appointment, as this may irritate your skin.
Are there any post-care instructions?
Yes! Please do your best to follow these guidelines:
  • Avoid getting your brows wet as much as possible. No water, heat, steam, sweating, pools, tanning beds, or direct sunlight.
  • Avoid makeup, makeup remover, toners, cleansers on or around the brows. Using an oil-free makeup remover is always a good idea!
  • Avoid scrubbing or touching your brows.
  • Do not apply Retinol, Retin-A, BHA/AHA, or exfoliate to your face for 72 hours after your appointment, as this may irritate your skin.
  • Do not use self tanning products on the face for 48 hours after the treatment.
  • Apply Castor Oil daily- this helps condition and maintain healthy, hydrated brows, while prolonging the wear of your eyebrow tint. If you don’t, your brow hair can become dry, brittle and unruly.
  • Use a mascara wand given to brush brows into place when needed. The longer you care for your brows, the better longevity of your treatment!
How is the brow lamination treatment performed?
  • Step 1: We style the hairs in the desired direction.
  • Step 2: We laminate the hairs into place with a gentle non-toxic perming solution.
  • Step 3: We neutralize the hairs and treat them with a nourishing formula.
  • Step 4: You walk out feeling better than ever!
Can I get microblading and a brow lamination done on the same day?
Unfortunately, no. You will need to wait a minimum of 5 weeks post microblading to get your brows laminated, and vice versa.
Will brow lamination cause damage to my natural brow hair?
As long as you follow our recommended pre- and post-care instructions, and use the recommended Castor Oil, brow lamination is a totally safe procedure!
Do different skin types react differently to brow lamination?
Brow lamination is great for all skin types! However, clients with oily skin may not have as long of a lasting result due to excess oil production in the skin.
How long does brow lamination last?
Generally, brow lamination lasts between 4 and 6 weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to 8 weeks. After the 4 to 6 week period, we recommend getting your brows re-laminated in order to maintain the look.
